I am Tag. A global citizen, lifelong learner and a free thinker.
What I value the most in my personal, social and work life is independence (call it freedom or autonomy). Without this I believe it is difficult to grow and to develop to the best (and truest) versions of ourselves. Thereby, other correlated values (e.g. creativity, authenticity, self expression and altrusim) cannot be accessible unless we are liberated from social constraints.
Work wise, I am a PhD student in Human Computer Interaction. I identify myself as a UX Designer (aka experience/interaction designer). As a generalist, I would enjoy covering a little of every activity of the design process. This includes learning about the users (qualitative research), developing user centered research methods, analyzing and synthesizing data, setting design goals, managing design communication within the design team, generating ideas and running ideation sessions, low-fi prototyping, user/usability testing, soliciting design critiques and writing design reports and proposals. As a specialist, I would choose to be a User Researcher. I am passionate about working closely with people, being immersed in developing empathy and understanding of users, defining a design problem from the user’s perspective, developing user methods and UX deliverables, testing and validating design solutions, and managing user advocacy within the design team. I am mostly interested in projects that fall in the intersection of cross cultural design and social change.
Aside form work interests, I love reading, writing, cooking, swimming and dancing. I like to explore different areas and indulge in new experiences, especially those beyond my comfort zone. So please feel free to suggest or recommend anything that made you thrilled to experience (:
Great to get to know about you, Tag. Saudi women really need people like you! I am an admirer of striving, independent, outstanding women (my mother and grandmother were two of them).
I am a translator with over 12 years experience and lately I am also lecturing and writing. Intercultural communication seduces me; deep cultural differences pose a big challenge.
So… if you ever need a helping hand from a native speaker of Spanish who works with German and English and likes different cultures, here I am.

I am writing and expanding a list of useful resources for writers. I created a section “Interculturalism” where I included a link to your blog: https://fadesga.wordpress.com/2016/06/19/recursos-para-escribir-y-traducir/

Hi there! I’ll be blunt. I came to this site cause I noticed you and I had the same theme you had responded to the Daily Post’s prompt today (autonomy) just seconds before I had. I then discovered that you are writing on a topic that greatly interests me and for that, I wish to say, thank you.
I look forward to seeing what the future will bring for you and your site!
